Firm flexibility enables excellence

“This award is a great testament to Suzanne’s knowledge, drive and enthusiasm to deliver outstanding legal services to her expanding practice. Both Suzanne’s award and her nomination in the Excellence in Client Service category are also a testament to Virtual Law and its business model which, through the use of technology, allows it to deliver exceptional expertise and service on a more cost effective basis than more traditional ‘bricks and mortar’ law firms,” said Oliver Brice, founder of Virtual Law, who was keen to emphasise the importance of the recognition for both Suzanne and the firm.

Commenting on the accolade, Suzanne Dibble enthused, “I am delighted to have won such a prestigious award recognising my achievements over such a short period of time. The Virtual Law model has allowed me to work flexibly and to provide the flexible service that my clients value so highly at a time when without such a model, I would have struggled to continue to practice law.”

Recognition for outstanding practitioners

The annual awards recognise the most outstanding legal practitioners and firms in their field and are open to individuals and teams across the entire legal sector. They are designed to recognise best practice and to celebrate excellence and outstanding achievement in areas that are central to the profession today. The awards highlight innovative business practices, successful approaches to practice management as well as contributions through social responsibility and equality and diversity initiatives.

John Wotton, who presses winning a Law Society Excellence Award is a great achievement and brings great recognition for individuals and firms, comments,

“The winners of these awards should be very proud of this superb accolade. The legal profession faces fresh challenges and greater competition resulting from the Legal Services Act. Excellence is the foundation of success in this new competitive environment where legal practitioners need to stand out from other service providers in order to thrive.

“Winning an Excellence Award is more than recognition from professional colleagues; it is also a symbol of quality for members of the public highlighting professional excellence and a commitment to providing a high quality service to clients.

“These awards reflect the Law Society’s commitment to celebrating excellence in the legal profession.”
